Participation in the 1st PIPAC Surgery
(Pressurised Intra Peritoneal Aerosol Chemotherapy)

Our company, Improvemed, always aiming at the supply of innovative and pioneering materials, was pleased to participate in the first two PIPAC (Pressurised Intra Peritoneal Aerosol Chemotherapy) surgeries that took place in Greece, at Metropolitan Hospital in Athens, as the official distributor of the material, the laparoscopic nebuliser for medical aerosols of the Capnomed GmbH , Germany.
The pioneering surgeries were performed by the Director of Surgery Dr Diamantis Thomas MD PhD FACS in collaboration with his associate general surgeon, Chief Director of Robotic General at Interbalkan Medical Center, Dr Haris Konstantinidis M.D. Ph.D, who were both trained and certified for these surgeries at the CHUV Lausanne University Hospital in Switzerland.
